Noblett Lake Trailhead: From Willow Springs,MO,take route 76 to Rt 181 South. Proceed to Route AP, go south 3 miles to Noblett Rec Area (on right).
North Fork Trailhead: 4 miles north east of Dora, MO,on Hwy CC; Or 16 mi west of West Plains,MO on Hwy CC.
Description
The Ridge Runner Trail extends from Noblett Lake to the North Fork Recreation Area, and travels through the rough, beautiful Missouri Ozarks. The diverse vegetation along the trail includes native wild flowers and remnant prairie species, oak-hickory, shortleaf pine, and bottom land forests. The eight-mile loop trail around Noblett Lake, the twelve-mile loop in Steam Mill Hollow, and the Ozark Trail offer other hiking opportunities.
